1924 Dodge 4 Cyl Tourer

Body Color Ivory Grey
Interior Color Tan

This very powerfull and big tourer is an older restoration that is still in very charming condition. It has a 4 cyl. sidevalve engine with a capacity of 212.3 cui, which is equivalent to about 3.5 litre. Even 6 cyl. cars of the late 20's and early 30's could not usually match that.

Mechanically it is in good condition, starts instantly and drives nice with its long-stroke low revving engine.Being that old it has rear wheel brakes only, which I never found to be a problem as long as you apply some forward thinking. The paintwork has a few blemishes, something that could be called ' Patina ', and nothing to get upset about.

Bodywork is very straight. Interior is very tidy. The old hood and side curtains had perished due to the harsh Australian sun and have just been entirely remade by one of Australia's foremost tradesman.

Tyres were similarly affected and the car therefor comes with brand new 24 inch rubber. It has got some period accessories like a tyre pump mounted on the running board, a spare fuel tin and a period jack. It also comes with a detachable luggage rack on the back. All in all a very attractive grand old tourer. With the added value of the new wet weather gear and new - expensive - 24 inch tyres the car is offered for sale imported into the UK - and therefor the EU.

We have detailed video footage of this car available.
