Famous for it's local produce, you will see a wide variety of food and drink on the stands this year at the Newent Onion Fayre.

From jams, chutneys, nuts, spices, dressings, oils, fresh veg and fruit all the healthy stuff will be in abundance. Fudge and chocolate through to candy floss and toffee apples, the whole range of everything is here to accompany our favourite - the Mighty Onion!

It doesn't stop there, wine, cider, perry and fruit juices are some of the drinks available whilst the pubs open their bars and courtyards to those who need to sample local beers, real ales and ciders - many of which were produced in the area - to enjoy with the music and fun.

One thing's for certain... You won't go home hungry!
