9.45am

Procession starts from The Good News Centre.

Headed by a Highland Piper, the Chairman and officials will escort the Guest of Honour, Trevor Harrison the starting procession will make its way along Broad Street to the Main Stage.

10.00am

The Opening Ceremony

Following the ringing in by the Town Crier and a statement by Chairman Eddie Woods, Adam Henson will officially open the ceremony.

10.15am

The Newent Onion Fayre 2009 is open!

Let the festivities begin with music and dancing in the Market Square and all the exhibitions, stalls, sideshows and fairground will swing into action!
